Glenda Gies Green Retro Floral Baby Jackie Handbag

This 1960s inspired designer handbag is perfect for this summer.  As Glenda Gies says "I design my handbags, totes and accessories to be elegant and functional, yet whimsical. I want to provide women with the opportunity to have a piece of the past that blend perfectly with today’s fashions while not seeing their bag in every mall across America.".  And this Glenda Gies handbag delivers exactly that.

The style of this designer handbag is what Glenda Gies calls the Baby Jackie, style number 1160, as it is the same shape, but smaller in size than the classic Jackie, for which Glenda Gies is best known.  This smaller vintage inspired handbag has a tan leather handle with tan piping, silver frame. The fabric is a retro print floral pattern with light green, green, white and black hues in the floral print  Glenda Gies calls the fabric F1082 Green Zinnas 1960s.  This vintage inspired bag has an interesting shape reminiscent of the 1960s (probably why it is called the Baby Jackie).  And while it is smaller than the Jackie, it is still just as practical, being large enough to carry the things you need, but small enough to be very ladylike and demure.  The green retro floral print keeps it from being to serious, and adds some whimsy.  The inside of the Glenda Gies bag is a a green grosgrain fabric and it features a small zippered pocket.  This Glenda Gies bag is brand new with tags!  The original price was 0!
